I recently took a trip with my mom for her birthday, and we had zero plans besides wandering around.  I love the idea of finding hidden gardens and just saying yes to whatever the day brings.  No schedule, but just exploring.

As I painted this piece, I realized that is exactly how I wanted it to feel.  Calm and taking the scenic route because you can.
