I almost didn't put this one up for sale. I painted it during a season when my fiancé was on his journey to sobriety, and painting became my therapy through it all. It was a reminder that no matter how strong the current felt, we were going to keep moving forward together. "Just keep swimming" became the phrase I repeated to myself.

Life looks a lot different now, and thankfully, so does this chapter. That is why I finally decided to share this piece. I've always believed that in a relationship, it's me and you versus the problem—never me versus you. My hope is that this painting becomes a reminder for someone else to keep going, whatever they're facing. Even when the current feels strong, there is always hope on the other side.
